some of you may already know that I am a certified "encantadict" : a person who gushes over a telefantasya aired in GMA (kapuso)...and it's kind of hard to accept that it's almost over....I'm guessing that it'll end on it's 200th episode which will be aired on Dec. 9...I just hope it's prequel "Etheria" keeps the encantado flame burning...anyways, I did a write up on the four most important characters shown in my favorite "telefantasya"....
Sang'gre (Royal Lirean blood/ matataas na diwata): Fated rulers of the diwatas. Unlike common diwatas, the "sang'gre"s hold latent magical powers and they can orb/teleport/maglaho/anyong usok at will.
Amihan:
- The sang'gre of wind and the queen of Lireo.
- Charismatic, Loyal and Maternal in nature; Amihan sits on the throne of Lireo bearing the wisdom of her mother and strength of her father. Amihan was chosen to be bearer of the gem from which the "diwata"' lineage protected for hundreds of years. Amihan wields the sword of her father, Raquim, and she knows how to kick ass very well. Amihan's powers are vast, from hurling wind powered energy balls to flying without the use of wings....her power presides over wind and air and let me tell you, she's not afraid to use it.
Pirena:
- The sang'gre of fire
- You could consider her the "black sheep" of the family, but after recent events...she realized that fighting with her sisters meant nothing but pain, loss and sorrow. Pirena's a half blood (talk about mudbloods; hehehe! harry potter) she's half "diwata" half "hathor". She's intelligent, witty and is highly experienced in combat. Pirena favors the double dagger as her weapon and she can throw a mean fireball at will. She also has the power to shapeshift, a natural ability Hathor authorities are famous for...but unlike pure blooded Hathors, Pirena can shapeshift anytime without losing all her energy. Pirena was a bad girl due to the poisoning of her dama (lady-in-waiting) Gurna, she forged hatred over her family and fought with them until the day she found light and eventually forgave herself. Her power presides over fire and heat.
Alena:
- The sang'gre of water, future queen of Sapiro
- She is driven by her emotion driven personality, she uses her heart most of time making her the most adored sang'gre. Alena became the love interest of a diwata-turned-Hathor guy named Hitano which resulted to countless kidnaps and death threats. Alena never loved Hitano because her love was reserved for Ybbrahim/Ybarro, prince of Sapiro. Alena's powers are highly distinctive and unique...and she has one hell of a voice. Her song can either soothe, hypnotize or kill anyone...of course this is at will (like a SIREN duh?). She's good in handling the spear and despite her emotional personality, she's a toughie when it comes to fighting. Her powers peside over water and emotions.
Danaya:
- The sang'gre of earth
- Alena's whole sister. Danaya's a living facade, she appears strong and tough but deep inside lies her weakness, her sisters. Danaya knows the laws of their race better than any sang'gre proving that she's a formidable candidate for queen. Danaya can shapshift (animals only). She can turn herself into any plant and she can talk to them (I'm pertaining to the animals and plants). She's the toughest among the sang'gres and she's unstoppable with her Arnises (double rod). She has hidden feelings for Aquil (captain of the royal guards). Her powers preside over the earth and it's creatures.
